This is my father. And for me, he is already a Hero! 5:00 a.m. I hear about the war. Immediately called and begged my father to run! His answer: “No”. I began to cry! I cried into his phone for a long time. All those happy moments of our life together flashed before my eyes and it was so painful to realize that maybe our last meeting in January 2022, was the last.
He asked me to understand him, and the fact that he couldn’t leave the church, our brothers and sisters in Christ, our soldiers who called him on the first day of the war and asked if he in [our town] and praying for them. You know, during all my life I haven’t told my father so often how I love him! But at this moment, I realize that every conversation could be our last conversation!
24.02.2022 changed my life forever. From one moment, you realize what is really important – and what is not. From one moment, you realize that relationships with people, and memories with them, is all that you can carry with you throughout all your life.
Today 01.03.2022. We are all still alive! It’s very big present from our God! We still can hear each other throughout the phone.
Everything what I want to say is that I love so much my family. All of them! And hope that God will give me a chance to see and hug all of them again.
“Because of the Lord’s great love we are not consumed, for His compassions never fail. They are new every morning; great is your faithfulness.” ( Lamentations 3:22-23).
(In the picture, you can see our Church now. Our brothers and sisters in Christ every day doing something in the church and serving those who in need!)
In God we trust!
